Bloggers come across the term SEO every day. But still many are confused that what is SEO..Lets have a look at that..SEO is abbreviation of Search Engine Optimization. If we just look at the dictionary meaning it is just a way to present your performance to search engines. But in terms of blogging it is a way to get traffic for your blog through different search engines. We can also say that SEO is a technique to get your website listed on the top and attract more traffic through search engines. UNIQUE PAGE TITLES
Create unique page titles that give a description about your page. Do not make pages with similar names and describe fully that what stuff this page contains because Page titles are shown in search engines. Avoid using very long titles of pages.
CUSTOM URLS
What is URL? It is Uniform Resource Locator. In simple words it is link of your post or page. Do create custom URLs for your pages and posts. You may have seen that some websites have URL like
blogname.com/xyz13
it is OK to use but it would have been better if you use it like this..
blogname.com/titleof post
It is a very easy step and definitely will be a plus point for your blog.
SITE NAVIGATION
Create a blog that is easily navigable. It will be of no use if you just create a Homepage and start publishing all your posts on that. Rather than that organize your posts in related categories and provide your users an easy way to navigate and find what they are looking for.
SITE MAP
Create a site map of your blog. List all the pages and categories of your blog with little description and give their link as well. It will surely create easiness for the viewers to decide.
UNIQUE CONTENT
Unique content is like a ghost for Bloggers that is present every where. No matter what you are talking about you are asked to ensure Unique content. Same in this case create unique and quality content rich in keywords and is easy to read and understand.
MOBILE VERSION
Do create mobile version of your site. As many users use internet access internet on cellular devices they should not be disappointed.
BE FAIR
Always use fair means. Don't try to get back links through black hat services or don't keep using tags and keywords that does not fit your blog...
