Visit the Wonders of the Magical United Kingdom


We live in a magical kingdom, comprised of four home nations, a queen, princes, castles, stone henge and a big clock called Ben! The United Kingdom has existed for a very long time, inheriting traits from its former separate kingdoms, as well as from current overseas countries through its diverse population.
As well as an outstandingly complex road system, the UK is full of natural and man-made sights that can’t be ignored and we’ve made a list of our favourites! We would recommend that these home wonders are best experienced when travelling by car, as travelling to these magnificent places is best done so without having to worry about missing your last ride home on public transport.



  • The London Eye



This is the UK’s favourite giant observation wheel that has quickly become a major London landmark and icon since it was opened upon the South Bank way back in the year 2000. Located next to Jubilee Gardens, it has proved to be a major tourist attraction with its unique views of the city. At least 10 million people have travelled approximately 135m, in one of the 32 glass capsules. Built by British Airways, as part of the city’s celebrations for the new millennium’s arrival, the wheel has become a symbol of Britain and is one of the UK’s most popular visitor attractions.


  • Buckingham Palace



Buckingham Palace is one of the few royal palaces still functioning worldwide. The Palace serves as the workplace and residence of Her Majesty, The Queen and is probably one of the most recognised buildings in the world and is used for many state visits, and royal ceremonies. One more thing to see here is the changing of the guards, which we recommend seeing.

  • Stonehenge, Wiltshire


Not much is known about this wonder, but it is believed to have started being built around 3100 B.C with construction lasting several centuries. Stonehenge, a medieval term meaning “hanging stones”, is believed to have been used as a place of worship and even sacrifice! The mystery surrounding Stonehenge just can’t ignored, isn’t it wonderful?


  • The House of Parliament



Also known as the Palace of Westminster, The Houses of Parliament incorporates the House of Lords and the House of Commons. The palace is located on the north bank of the River Thames in Westminster, London along with other government buildings. The palace, a centre of authority for over a thousand years, was once home to the royal family and is now home to Her Majesty’s Government.

  • The Eden Project


Based in Cornwall, tropical garden house has been previously dubbed the “Eighth wonder of the world”. The Eden Project is the world’s largest greenhouse and is frequently considered to be one of the UK’s top Landmark Millennium projects to dictate man’s relationships with nature. Housing plants from all over the world, the project is a non-profit making scientific organization for the 21st century with a commitment to educate people about biology through entertainment and education.
