How about a camera packed up with the best and the most popular operating system in the world? Samsung has launched it's galaxy camera having the android operating system. Though Nikon tried very well wit the coolpix with gingerbread operating system in it, it was not much successful.
Samsung introduced the camera in IFA 2012 in Berlin, but it was undertaken by the galaxy Note II. Samsung is not just a simple camera or like cameras these days, it is almost like a Smartphone with big screen only without the facility of calling or messaging from sim card.

On the left side there is a very small area for speaker and a button for pushing the flash light on or off. On the top, there is just a power button and a shutter key with a zoom in and out dial around that like all other digital cameras. On the front side the lens of the size of 4.1-86.1mm 1:2.8-5.9 23mm is there and it is having the thickness of 35mm.
The flash pops out only when you need it to use, by pressing the flash button on the right side of the camera. Though the rectangular shape of flash looks old but it is the feature because of which it looks different from the other cameras. The best and the most unique feature of this camera is it's screen. Normal cameras have 3 inch screens without touch interface and many buttons with it. In Samsung galaxy camera there is 4.8 inch LCD, resists the fingerprint, looks just like the screen of galaxy S3 with gorilla glass coating. It has resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The camera is of 16.3 megapixels with 21x zooming facility. There is no blurring of picture when zoomed but only a minor with the full 21x zoom. Many options available with this and onscreen lens settings just like an SLR or DSLR.
Many applications are preinstalled in it and you can also use them with a 3G connection. the galaxy camera can have all the applications which a Smartphone can have with the wifi and 3G connectivity using a micro sim.
