May 2, Microsoft announced the completion of Hotmail to Outlook.com migration. It added that in the past six weeks, a total of migration 150PB email.
Microsoft also said it has two new features added to the Outlook.com SMTP to send and deeper integration with SkyDrive. SMTP sending function can make it easier for users to send mail from a different e-mail address. This new feature supports the use of an alias to send mail, and receiving the e-mail users will not see the "on behalf of a person sent" message. Integration with SkyDrive, users can now directly from SkyDrive inserted to the e-mail files and pictures.
In February of this year, Microsoft executives claimed Outlook.com number of active accounts reached 60 million. They also said the company will close the Hotmail service and the service of hundreds of millions of users to migrate to Outlook.com.
Microsoft says there are about 125 million users in 400 million active users, often through mobile devices to access their Outlook.com account.
