Here
is a list of seven Android tool apps that you can use every day. They
are basically the little life savers that you wish you had known about
in hindsight. They are tools that you can use every day if you wish, and
are ones that you simply must have--if you have an Android. The list is
in no particular order
.
1 - Tiny Flashlight + LED
This
is a tool that takes your mobile device functions and puts them to use
in ways you would not expect. The light can light up your screen, so
that your screen stays bright and lit, and that way you can use it as a
light. Many people do it all the time, and their power-save function
will mean that they have to keep touching the screen. With this app, all
you need to do is turn it on and the screen will stay lit on its
brightest setting. If you have a flash camera on your mobile device,
then you can use the LED on your camera. Instead of flashing, the LED
will simply stay lit for as long as your run the function within the
app. It is very handy if you are not the sort of person who keeps a
torch handy. At the moment, this app works for tablets and Smartphones,
and is currently free to download.
2 - Titanium Backup PRO
As
the name suggests, this app is built to help you restore your previous
files. It has multiple backup systems and a click and restore feature.
It has an app freezer and a free version for if you want to test it out
first.
3 - Google Translate
This
is another must have tool, and one of the reasons for this is because
it is so good at what it does. Most other translation software will cost
you a lot of money, but Google give this tool away for free. It allows
you to translate text and phrases from over sixty-five languages. You
can also listen to translation phrases from over forty languages. It
will even take note of some of your translations and save them offline
so that you can use them without needing an Internet connection.
4 - Avast! Mobile Security
There
are a lot of security tools out there, and this is one of them. Because
there are so many on the market, it would be unfair to say that this is
the one you should buy (that is your “Must-Have”). But an
antivirus/anti-malware security package is one you should use. I can be
set to automatically scan files or can be use manually. You can have
full control of the app via its widget, and it can measure the incoming
and outgoing data transfer for you. It will scan a users access rights
for your security.
5 - Adobe AIR
This
is an Android tool that is famous and powerful. It helps you by
delivering an application that has rich video features. Not only that,
but it will allow you to run your favorite web apps at the same time
too. The app has speaker control, 16 and 32 bit color depth,
multi-threaded video decoding, captive run time support, and a native
text input user interface. It also supports web cams with StageVideo.
6 - Norton Mobile Security (Beta)
This
is a security app, which was created by Norton, who have been in the
Antivirus business for a good while. They have an app that protects
against a number of viruses, malwares, worms, etc. It also allows you to
wipe your current Android memory. This is good for if the phone has
been lost or stolen.
7 - Android Assistant
The
Android assistant is a must have app for you because it comes with
eighteen tools/features that you can use. It can do things from making
your Android device run faster, to increasing the battery life of your
Android. It has features such as a Cache cleaner for better memory use,
and a start up manager so that you do not have to start a bunch of
processes that you do not needed whenever you start you Android. It also
has things such as a good file monitor, and has a CPU usage function
too.
